Sometimes it's tricky knowing which items you'll use as a new mama - and which ones you won't need. Parker Baby Co. ambassador Kourtney Ringo is here to give her two cents! Read her advice below...

One of the biggest struggles as a mama is figuring out what works for YOU and not what worked for others.

I had items on my baby registry that people told me “you won’t use that” but I still use every. single. day. Like my PBC diaper caddy!

Best piece of advice I could give to a first time mom is find what works for YOU and not what worked for OTHERS. During my first pregnancy I was overwhelmed with friends, family and social media telling me “you do/don’t need this product”. This unsolicited advice coming from friends and family is especially hard because it made me feel as if all my product research was invalid.

When making my baby registry I put so many hours into it from researching brands, ingredients, reviews, etc. Sure, there were things I had on there that were luxury items or non-essential but it doesn’t hurt to put those on your registry! I am so grateful that the majority of my registry was bought and I truly feel blessed.
