I don't know about y'all... But it's just about this time every year that I get the winter blues, hard. After the holidays, Valentine's Day, birthdays and when spring stuff shows up in the stores (hello, Target swim suit section), but when you know very well you are going to be in boots through April in Colorado.
Here are a few things to help us (me) get through the remainder of these cold, wet months.
From Parker Baby Co.
Large Felt Diaper Caddy
We've struggled with stocking our Regular Diaper Caddy - I'm sorry! But I think it's been a hidden blessing because it's allowing people to try out our larger size. I love the large caddy for main areas of the house that get used a lot. It makes for a great breast pumping station and a really useful gift basket with plenty of room other baby shower goodies for new moms 😊 Don't let the winter clutter drag you down.
The Classics Swaddle Set
Okay, Essie is just the sweetest babe, but also we are obsessed with the three blankets in the Classics Swaddle Set. They are perfectly neutral and sweet, and they'll get you through a couple more of the winter months before you break out the floral and bloom prints.
Just for Mama 😗
Sam Edelman Rain Boots
When you just can't bare to put on your snow boots any longer and wet snow just won't stop this time of year, these stylish and practical booties are the perfect fit.
Aquaphor Lip Balm
Aquaphor is like my Windex (My Big Fat Greek Wedding anyone?). It cures everything. This time of year I find myself putting it on cracked knuckles, dry patches and definitely on my lips. I love tinted balms like the next busy mom just trying to get by, but this is a must have in my Birch Bag mommy pocket for the long winter months 😉
The Ever Co.
Amy is so incredible! She and her husband met when they were both training to be Army helicopter pilots (so cool!), and they have donated over $30,000 to military families suffering from a loss of a child or a child with terminal illness through Ever Co. On top of all of this, she creates the CUTEST graphic tees and sweatshirts for moms, kids, and babes alike. They are released in limited quantities that sell out fast! Follow them, like now :)
Kinetic Sand
Okay, this one isn't directly for mom, but indirectly it is most definitely for you. When indoor activities are getting old and I really, really just wish I could take the kids outside (in Parker, CO it's a high of 20 today), I bring out the Kinetic Sand. I use a big tub of it and hide dinosaurs in there for the girls to look for "fossils". It's pretty easy to clean up since it all clings together - I still have to run a vacuum (or just wait for our Roomba to get it when we go to bed) but it is still so worth it.
