Memorial Day was the "unofficial" start to summer, which maybe didn't feel that way in Colorado because we had 6 inches of snow a few days prior, but nevertheless, spirits are high. We are ready for swim suits, bbqs, lots of time outside, and sandals over here! Let's talk about our favorite summer picks for baby + mom!
From Parker Baby Co.
Lodgepole Muslin Quilt
Our muslin cotton blankets are the large and breathable making them perfect for laying in the grass outside during summer days or snuggling underneath on cool summer nights. We love this Lodgepole print which is adorable for any season!
Essential Bow Set
Our original Essential Bow Set has assorted styles that are adorable accessories for every summer outfit. The super soft nylon band stretches to grow with baby and is comfortable all day.
Bikes Bandana Bib Set
This playful bandana bib set is the cutest for summer days! It keeps baby dry, comfortable, and happy while complimenting their outfit.
The Unicorn Hair Clips
Our brand new Hair Clips are the easiest accessory! They are perfect for babies with longer hair, toddlers, little girls, and even mom when you need to get that hair out of your face. The Unicorn Set has the sweetest rainbow print and fun colors and textures for the season.
Freedom Bandana Bib Set
With Fourth of July around the corner, you can't not get this adorable accessory for your patriotic babe.
For Mama
Abercrombie and Fitch Shorts
Has anyone else noticed A&F with the come back? I don't think they are just known for their inappropriate catalogs our moms prayed we didn't get our hands on and shirtless retail workers (or maybe they are? but their website photography looks much less suggestive!). Bloggers have been loving pieces from A&F lately, and I've already been influenced on these high-waisted denim cut-offs. Tip: order a size up for a comfier, more relaxed fit - you won't regret it!
Faux Hermes Sandals
There are so many of these Hermes dupes out there, and I'm not going to lie I have tried a few. Our Customer Experience all-star Emma was wearing these today and she can vouch for them - they are super comfortable and at Nordstrom Rack for only $40. Not the most practical for running around at the park this summer, but super convenient to slip on with any outfit.
Maybelline BB Pure
We have featured Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer before because it is incredible, especially in the summer when you need to treat your skin extra kind and only need light coverage. BUT sometimes, you just aren't willing to spend $50 on a small tube, so that's when this guy comes in. You can pick it up at Target for $7 and it feels great on the skin. NOTE: this does not have SPF (LM does), so you need to make sure you also have something on your face that does. SPF = super important (or something ;)).
Simply Balanced Sparkling Water
Sparkling Water is pretty popular right now and for good reason. Just make sure you double check the sugar content. The good ones have zero calories, but more importantly, zero sugar. Even delicious coconut water can be full of sugar - and at that point you could have just gone with the beer or Coke.
Coppertone Glow
As mentioned above, SPF should be number one on your summer shopping list. We love the Coppertone Glow because it is SPF 50 and has a self-tanner so you can still get that summer "glow". Especially as moms today, who get little sleep and were out in the sun way too much in high school, college, etc, taking care of our skin now is very important.
Faux Celine Glasses
I know, $30 seems like a lot for sunglasses when they are from Walmart. BUT these are Celine dupes, so then they feel very affordable!
Mango Cutter/Splitter
Mangos are my absolute favorite fruit! It took me a while to get into them because they are so annoying to cut - but this nifty thing makes it way easier to get that mysterious core out! YUM!
HELLO doormat
Summer deserves a fresh doormat after a wet and messy spring, and Target is my go-to for these. This HELLO mat is adorable and summery without clashing with other front door decor. I love the new trend of layering doormats and recommend putting this 2x3 rug underneath for an added design detail!
Hamburger Blow-up Pool
Last, but not least, a fun one for the whole family! With little ones, these inflatable pools provide so much fun on long summer afternoons. There are so many cute ones to choose from, but this one is fun(ny) for everyone!
Thanks for stopping in! Let the summer weekends begin!
