Hey Parker Baby Co. fam! We wanted to celebrate Small Business Saturday early this year and feature three special companies each weekend for the remainder of the month. Today marks week 2 of our celebration! We love supporting other small businesses out there:-) Read more about our journey as a small business here. Today we have Veteran-owned clothing line, handmade pottery & art, and adorable craft kits ~ let's dive in!
The Ever Co.
This company doesn't just make adorable clothes for kids and moms; it has an incredible mission behind it too. Owned by two veterans, The Ever Co. supports other heroes by raising money for families with military ties suffering from the heartbreaking loss of a child, battling with a child in the hospital, or struggling with a child being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Amy and Blake, the couple who founded The Ever Co., have raised over $30,000 for hurting families.
Our favorite products they sell are their Energy Swing Tees (above) and I Am Enough Sweatshirt (for stylish mamas;). They also sell beanies, dresses, bags, and much more. We just can't get enough of their style!
Agora Studio
This aesthetic small company centers around making unique pieces of art in an age of mass production. Sarah, the artist behind all the handmade pottery and unique modern paintings, says she called her small business Agora Studio because Agora (meaning "a gathering place") epitomizes how she's been able to unify all her art forms under one purpose: to uniquely bring homes together.
Her Accord Collection has enough pieces to elegantly furnish any home, but our personal favorite is her Oval Vase and Mug in Aquarelle. Everything she makes coordinates so well, it's hard to buy just one thing! Personally, I'm planning on grabbing a vase for my own mama ~ they are the perfect touch to any home.
Camp Crafty
Camp Crafty takes a fun (and non-stressful) approach to crafting with kids. Lilly teaches Camp Crafty Parties, offers craft kits online, and documents her journey on her blog, Open Hearted Home. At Camp Crafty Parties (which are sadly only available in Dallas), she comes in with her supplies, teaches the kids at the party how to do a craft, cleans up the mess afterwards (hallelujah), and sends them off with a party favor they made themselves.
If you're not exactly a Dallas local (like us), Lilly also offers Craft Kits so you can get your party started at home. Our favorite kit she sells is customizable "sunnies" for kids (vintage sunglasses;). Trust me, seeing a dozen little kids wearing funny sunglasses around your house for your kid's birthday party is worth every penny!
We love supporting other small businesses here at Parker Baby Co. When you order from any small business, you can bet your orders are appreciated SO much more and handled with care. Here's to celebrating and supporting small businesses!
